Official National Weather Service observations recorded a daily maximum of 94°F at Denver International Airport on September 5, 2026, at 2:23 PM MDT, placing the outcome squarely in the 94-95°F bin. This reading ran 10°F above the 1991-2020 climatological normal of 84°F amid clear skies, light northerly winds, and zero precipitation. Recent model guidance and surface analyses aligned with the observed warm anomaly driven by downslope flow and above-average 500-hPa heights. The market’s near-certain pricing reflects the finalized observational record; only a post hoc data correction or station relocation could alter resolution.
