Forecast models from NOAA and local stations indicate an overnight low in the upper 60s for Los Angeles on September 13, driven by typical marine-layer development under light onshore flow after a period of early-month heat. This setup favors temperatures near the 68–70°F range, consistent with climatological averages around 64°F but tempered by recent warming. Market-implied odds near 48–49% on both sub-59°F and 78°F+ extremes reflect trader uncertainty over the precise minimum, likely tied to variable fog timing, wind shifts, or microclimate differences at official reporting sites. Upcoming hourly observations and any model updates will clarify whether stronger cooling or retained warmth materializes.
