Forecast models from sources including WeatherBug, Yr.no, and Luft Time indicate highs of 33–35°C for Guangzhou on September 8 under partly cloudy skies following recent thunderstorms, supporting the market’s close 35–36°C pricing. Late-summer atmospheric conditions, including light northeasterly winds and subsidence after monsoon moisture, favor daytime heating, while urban heat island effects and variable cloud cover introduce uncertainty that could shift the maximum by 1–2°C. Historical September 8 averages near 32.6°C and records of 35.9°C provide context for the tight distribution. Updated runs from GFS, ECMWF, and China Meteorological Administration will clarify steering patterns and precipitation timing ahead of resolution.
