Recent forecasts from multiple models point to a daily maximum near 17°C in Buenos Aires on September 8, driven by a northerly wind shift that is gradually replacing a recent polar air mass with milder subtropical flow. Clear to partly cloudy conditions and light winds should allow afternoon temperatures to peak in the mid-to-upper teens Celsius, consistent with climatological September averages but tempered by the lingering cool anomaly. Trader emphasis on 18°C likely reflects model spread and the potential for a slightly stronger warm advection or delayed peak, while lower probabilities for 19°C or above acknowledge limited intensification potential before any frontal passage. Updated National Meteorological Service guidance and afternoon observations will refine the exact threshold ahead of market resolution.
