Katie Hobbs maintains a clear edge in trader sentiment for winning Maricopa County due to her consistent statewide polling lead over Republican nominee Andy Biggs, with recent surveys showing margins of 6 to 16 points in her favor. As the Democratic incumbent seeking reelection, Hobbs benefits from her 2022 victory in the populous county and ongoing attacks framing Biggs as too conservative following his decisive July 2026 primary win. Biggs, endorsed by President Trump and representing a strongly Republican congressional district, faces challenges broadening appeal in Maricopa's mix of suburban and urban voters. The race remains competitive overall, with forecasts assigning Hobbs roughly an 80% implied probability of statewide victory ahead of the November 3 general election.
