Nicole Cannizzaro secured the Democratic nomination for Nevada attorney general after defeating State Treasurer Zach Conine in the June 9 primary, positioning her as the frontrunner in the open-seat general election against Republican Adriana Guzmán Fralick, who prevailed over Danny Tarkanian. Cannizzaro’s background as Senate majority leader and former Clark County prosecutor has contributed to trader consensus favoring her at 75.5 percent, reflecting Nevada’s recent Democratic performance in statewide contests and the structural advantages of the party’s primary winner in an open race. Guzmán Fralick, a former Cannabis Compliance Board chair and Trump-endorsed candidate, trails at 20 percent amid expectations of a competitive but uphill general election on November 3. Limited new developments in the past 30 days have kept focus on these established primary outcomes and historical voting patterns rather than shifting the implied probabilities.
