**Short-term weather models indicate a mild early-September day in Helsinki with daytime highs most likely peaking near 19–21°C under partly cloudy skies and light to moderate winds.** Forecasts from sources including the Finnish Meteorological Institute, ECMWF-driven models, and others converge on a maximum around 19–20°C for September 2, driven by a stable high-pressure influence with southwest to northwest flow and limited cloud cover that permits moderate solar heating. Coastal location and Baltic Sea surface temperatures moderate extremes, while low precipitation chances and dew points in the mid-teens support efficient daytime warming without strong capping inversions. The tight clustering of market-implied probabilities on 20°C and 21°C reflects ongoing model spread in exact cloud timing, wind shifts, and boundary-layer mixing, with 19°C remaining plausible if thicker cloud arrives earlier. Historical early-September averages near 17–18°C provide context, but current conditions favor a modest positive anomaly absent major forecast shifts before resolution.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=efhk
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
