Wildwood holds the market edge at 43.5% implied probability due to Laika’s strong critical track record and early industry buzz around its stop-motion craftsmanship, while Toy Story 5 sits at 32.5% on the strength of Pixar’s franchise pedigree and reliable guild support. Ray Gunn (10.5%) and other titles like Forgotten Island and Hoppers remain longer shots pending release timing, reviews, and precursor momentum. With the 2027 Oscars still months away and most 2026 animated releases not yet screened, traders are pricing in a fluid race where guild nominations, festival reception, and box-office performance could rapidly shift consensus before voting begins.
