This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.JJ Wetherholt holds the lead in the NL Rookie of the Year market due to his elite all-around contributions for the Cardinals, including second-highest fielding run value, strong baserunning, and consistent leadoff production with a .350 OBP and 4.5 fWAR through mid-August. Sal Stewart trails as the primary challenger for the Reds, buoyed by league-leading rookie RBIs near 85 and 24 home runs after a strong July, though his lower advanced metrics and defensive profile limit his edge. Recent MLB.com polling shows the pair nearly tied in voter points, reflecting a tight race where Wetherholt's broader value sustains trader consensus around 58% implied probability while keeping Stewart viable near 32%. Lower-probability names like Carson Benge remain distant without comparable playing time or production spikes.
