**Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources indicate a minimum temperature near 70–74°F for Los Angeles on September 11, 2026, consistent with the market’s heavy weighting toward 72–73°F (57.5%) and 74–75°F (32.5%).** A strengthening high-pressure ridge over the Southwest is maintaining clear to partly cloudy skies and light onshore flow after the passage of Hurricane Marie’s remnants earlier in the week. This pattern suppresses the typical marine-layer cooling that often drops coastal lows into the mid-60s, keeping overnight temperatures elevated. Recent observations at Los Angeles International Airport show lows in the low-to-mid 70s, and ensemble guidance shows little day-to-day variability through the overnight period. The implied probabilities reflect this consensus while allowing modest room for model spread or slight timing shifts in the sea breeze. Historical September 11 averages near 64°F are well below current conditions because of the atypical post-tropical high-pressure regime. No significant cold-air advection or marine-layer strengthening is expected before the minimum occurs, supporting the market’s concentration in the low-70s range.
