Recent official forecasts from Environment Canada and ensemble models indicate a high near 24–26°C for Toronto on September 17 under a mix of sun and cloud with a 30–40% chance of showers, driven by a weakening southerly flow shifting to northerly winds that limit daytime heating. This aligns with mid-September climatology (average high 21.7°C) while accounting for residual warmth from prior days. Cloud cover and light precipitation are expected to cap peaks below late-summer norms, creating tight clustering of market-implied odds around 23–25°C. Traders weigh these factors against potential model shifts in the next 48 hours, as updated GFS and ECMWF runs will refine steering patterns and boundary-layer moisture ahead of the daily high resolution.
