Florida's 14th congressional district features Democratic incumbent Kathy Castor seeking another term against Republican nominee Mike Beltran in the November 3 general election. Recent mid-decade redistricting shifted the seat rightward, with former President Trump carrying it by double digits in 2024, yet a July poll showed Castor leading Beltran 46% to 38%. The August 18 primaries concluded with Castor advancing unopposed on the Democratic side and Beltran securing the Republican nomination, solidifying the matchup. Traders appear to weigh Castor's long incumbency, fundraising edge, and established voter base against the altered partisan lean and national midterm dynamics, producing the current implied probabilities. No major new developments have emerged in the days since the primaries.
