Recent polls place Die Linke between 16% and 22% ahead of the September 20 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election, reflecting gains driven by emphasis on housing affordability and social spending amid a fragmented field that includes the CDU, SPD, Greens, and AfD. Proportional allocation with the five-percent threshold and potential overhang seats produces seat totals clustered in the low-to-mid 20s to low 30s, keeping the 25-29 and 30-34 ranges nearly even in trader pricing. Recent state-wide trends show modest further gains for Die Linke alongside AfD strength and weakness for the incumbent coalition, sustaining uncertainty over final vote shares and coalition math. Late-campaign shifts in turnout or minor-party performance remain the main variables that could widen the gap between those leading outcomes.
