Recent polling trends position Vänsterpartiet slightly ahead of Centerpartiet ahead of the September 13, 2026, Riksdag election, supporting the 59.5% implied probability for V receiving more votes. SCB's May 2026 party preference survey showed V at 8.6% (a statistically significant rise from prior measurements) versus C at 6.4%, while multiple July and August aggregates from Novus, Indikator, and Demoskop place V in the 6.5–7.8% range and C between 6.6–7.3%. These figures align with the centre-left opposition bloc's sustained lead over the Tidö government parties, as V forms part of the red-green grouping alongside Socialdemokraterna. No singular high-impact event in the past 30 days has shifted their relative standings, leaving trader sentiment anchored to this narrow but consistent polling edge.
