Recent polling trends show Kristdemokraterna (KD) holding a marginal edge over Centerpartiet (C) ahead of the September 13, 2026, parliamentary election, supporting the 61.5% trader consensus on KD receiving more votes. Multiple surveys from June through early August 2026 place both parties in the low-to-mid single digits, with KD often at 6.1–7.5% and C at 6.2–7.3%, reflecting KD's position within the governing Tidö bloc and modest gains in voter preference since 2025. C has faced ongoing challenges, including the 2025 resignation of its leader, which contributed to stagnant or lower support levels in official statistics office data. These patterns, consistent across firms like Novus, Demoskop, and SCB, indicate limited momentum shifts that could alter the narrow contest in the final weeks.
