Željka Cvijanović, the incumbent Serb member of the Presidency and SNSD candidate backed by Milorad Dodik, leads the market at 87% due to her strong position within Republika Srpska’s ruling coalition ahead of the October 4, 2026 general election. Opposition parties reached a July 2026 agreement for a unified front, nominating Marinko Božović for the Serb seat while fielding Branko Blanuša and Draško Stanivuković in related races, yet this coordination has not significantly narrowed the gap. Siniša Karan, the current RS president and SNSD ally, and other listed challengers trail with limited polling traction. Trader consensus reflects SNSD’s entrenched electoral advantages in the entity, the high barriers for opposition consolidation, and the absence of major recent disruptions to the incumbent’s campaign.
