**Trader consensus heavily favors a 76-77°F low in Atlanta on September 4, 2026, at 95.5% implied probability, aligning with National Weather Service observations of a minimum around 75-77°F.** Persistent late-summer warmth, elevated humidity, and limited overnight radiational cooling under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies prevented typical seasonal drops to the historical average low of 68-69°F. High pressure dominated, with daytime highs reaching the mid-90s and heat indices above 100°F sustaining elevated temperatures through the night. Model consensus and real-time surface observations showed no significant frontal passage or thunderstorm activity to enhance cooling. A shift to much drier air or an unforecasted cold pool could have lowered readings into the low 70s, but conditions remained stable and above normal.
