Recent polling averages ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election show Vänsterpartiet consistently at or above 7 percent while Kristdemokraterna hovers near 6 percent, producing a modest but steady edge for V in most surveys through July. The centre-left opposition bloc’s overall lead has kept smaller parties like V competitive, whereas KD has experienced minor fluctuations without a sustained rebound. No major party-specific scandals, leadership changes, or policy announcements in the past 30 days have altered these relative positions. Traders therefore assign V a 63 percent implied probability of finishing ahead on election night, reflecting the current distribution of undecided voters and bloc momentum rather than any decisive late surge.
