Bakir Izetbegović leads trader consensus at 54% for the Bosniak seat in Bosnia and Herzegovina's October 4, 2026, general election, ahead of incumbent Denis Bećirović at 37%, largely due to the Party of Democratic Action's entrenched organizational strength and voter base among Bosniaks, combined with anti-incumbent sentiment. Bećirović, backed by a broader coalition including the Social Democratic Party, benefits from his current role as Presidency chairman and 2022 victory but faces challenges consolidating support. Semir Efendić's candidacy with the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina registers minimal market odds at 2.7% and could further split moderate or opposition votes in the Federation. Recent candidate confirmations and party positioning have reinforced these dynamics without major shifts in the weeks before voting.
