This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Quintana Roo gubernatorial elections. Any interim or caretaker Governor will not qualify. If the results are not known definitively by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Quintana Roo and Mexico, including the Electoral Institute of Quintana Roo and the National Electoral Institute of Mexico. The Quintana Roo gubernatorial race for 2027 remains tightly contested in trader pricing because Morena’s internal nomination process is still in its early registration and polling phase, with no candidate yet securing a clear path to the party’s nomination in a state the coalition currently holds. Ana Patricia Peralta de la Peña, serving as municipal president of Benito Juárez, and Senator Eugenio Segura Vázquez lead the field, their probabilities reflecting comparable name recognition and organizational support within the dominant coalition ahead of the June 2027 vote. Other aspirants trail due to lower visibility or later entry. Separation could emerge from upcoming internal surveys, endorsements by state or federal Morena figures, or shifts in local approval ratings tied to tourism policy, security, or infrastructure delivery in the coming months.
