The Colima gubernatorial race for June 2027 remains wide open more than ten months out, with Polymarket prices clustering several contenders—including Sofía Peralta Ferro, Joel Padilla Peña, Virgilio Mendoza Amezcua, Gabriela Benavides Cobos, and Rosa María Bayardo Cabrera—between roughly 28% and 42% amid a broad field and high undecided shares. Early polling from independent firms shows shifting leads and fragmented support across PAN-aligned, Morena-linked, and independent figures, reflecting the absence of finalized party nominations or major coalitions. Local visibility efforts by sitting legislators and municipal officials continue to shape name recognition, while the extended timeline allows for swings driven by internal party processes, endorsements, or emerging state-level issues. Separation is most likely to emerge once conventions clarify nominees and fresh surveys capture consolidated preferences.
