Gubernatorial elections are currently scheduled to be held in Zacatecas on June 6, 2027. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Zacatecas gubernatorial elections. Any interim or caretaker Governor will not qualify. If the results are not known definitively by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Zacatecas and Mexico, including the Electoral Institute of Zacatecas and the National Electoral Institute of Mexico.**Ulises Mejía Haro holds the highest implied probability among named candidates in the 2027 Zacatecas gubernatorial contest, followed by Verónica Díaz Robles, amid a fragmented field of more than two dozen options.** The race remains wide open more than a year before the vote because no formal party nominations have occurred and internal Morena polling continues to shift. Mejía Haro has recently consolidated support among party founders and historical militants while maintaining leads of roughly two-to-one in several internal surveys; Díaz Robles and other aspirants such as Alfonso Ramírez Cuéllar and Noemí Berenice Luna Ayala trail but retain organized backing. As the dominant party in the state, Morena’s eventual standard-bearer is widely viewed as the presumptive favorite, keeping probabilities compressed until the selection process clarifies. Scheduled party conventions, additional polling releases, and any late endorsements or alliances could quickly widen gaps among the leaders.
