Recent forecasts from the South African Weather Service and global models such as GFS and ECMWF indicate a maximum temperature of 25°C in Cape Town on September 13, driven by a cut-off low pressure system producing cloudy skies, scattered showers, and light south-easterly winds shifting northwest. This aligns with observed afternoon readings near 21–22°C and model consensus capping the daily high at or just below 25°C amid moderate humidity and limited solar heating. Trader consensus at 96% for 25°C reflects this data-driven outlook, though slight upward revisions could occur if afternoon clearing allows brief warming beyond current projections; cooler outcomes remain improbable without unexpected intensification of onshore flow or measurement discrepancies at official stations.
