Gisèle Pouhe Njall of Québec solidaire holds a narrow lead in trader pricing for the Rosemont National Assembly seat, reflecting the riding's shift to an open contest after longtime MNA Vincent Marissal's departure from the party and politics. Pierre-Luc Brillant of the Parti québécois trails as the main challenger, with Liberal David Lavoie, CAQ's Nour Aliyah Attié, and other candidates further back. The tight positioning aligns with Rosemont's recent history of QS strength in Montreal alongside PQ competitiveness in 2026 provincial polling, local priorities such as hospital reconstruction at Maisonneuve-Rosemont, housing costs, and education access. Nomination deadlines close shortly before the October 5 vote, leaving limited time for late developments to widen the gap between the top contenders.
