Andris Kulbergs leads the market at 78.5% as the incumbent prime minister heading a coalition government formed in May 2026 after Evika Siliņa's resignation amid coalition disputes over defense handling. His United List party tops recent polls ahead of the October 3 Saeima election, reflecting trader assessment of its position to lead post-election coalition talks. Lower-priced names such as Jūlija Stepaņenko, Ainārs Šlesers, Andris Šuvajevs, Ilze Indriksone, Viktors Valainis, and Arvils Ašeradens correspond to opposition or rival party figures whose parties trail in surveys. Security concerns over Russian hybrid threats and border issues with Belarus have dominated recent weeks without shifting the frontrunner's standing. The outcome hinges on final vote shares and subsequent majority negotiations in the 100-seat parliament.
