**Recent NWS forecasts and model guidance position the overnight low for New York City on September 18 in the upper 60s to low 70s, driven by a post-frontal northerly flow and partial clearing after Thursday’s warmth and showers.** Northerly winds of 10–13 mph are expected to moderate radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies, keeping minimum temperatures above the seasonal average low of ~61°F. Multiple short-range models cluster around 69–70°F, supporting the market’s heaviest volume on the 68–71°F bins, while slightly cooler solutions near 64°F remain possible if clearing occurs earlier than anticipated. No major forecast shifts have occurred in the past 24 hours, leaving trader consensus anchored to this stable, above-average temperature regime ahead of the resolution window.
