Current forecast models from agencies like PAGASA and international ensembles show moderate uncertainty over Manila's overnight minimum on September 13, with guidance split between typical rainy-season values near 25–26 °C and a possible early northeast monsoon surge that could drop readings to 19 °C or lower. Recent satellite and upper-air data indicate variable steering flow and moisture levels that could either allow localized radiational cooling under clearing skies or maintain warmer, cloud-covered conditions. Historical September minima average around 24–25 °C, so any sub-20 °C outcome would represent a notable cold anomaly driven by stronger-than-normal northerly winds. Updated model runs and official briefings expected overnight will likely resolve the spread between the closely matched market-implied probabilities near 25–26 °C versus 19 °C or below.
