Current forecasts from the Met Office and European models indicate overnight lows in London on September 18 will most likely reach 11–12°C under westerly flow with partial cloud cover and light winds, aligning closely with the market's leading outcomes at 50.5% and 36.5% implied probability. These temperatures reflect typical mid-September climatology, where average minimums hover near 12°C, tempered by recent unsettled conditions including showers and a mild Atlantic influence that has kept readings close to seasonal baselines without significant cold-air advection. High pressure building over the weekend is expected to moderate further cooling, though model consensus remains tight around these thresholds with low risk of dropping to 10°C or below. Updated guidance ahead of the overnight period will refine the precise minimum.
