Forecast models from the Met Office and ECMWF currently indicate a minimum temperature near 17–18°C for London on September 14, aligning with the close market-implied odds of 38% for 18°C and 36% for 17°C. Mid-September climatology places typical overnight lows around 12–14°C, but recent high-pressure dominance and lighter winds have supported milder conditions, with ensemble guidance showing limited cooling overnight. Key variables include cloud cover and any late frontal passage that could alter radiative cooling rates. Traders are monitoring updated model runs and official forecasts through the evening of September 13 for refinements ahead of market resolution.
