**Trader consensus heavily favors 31°C as Shenzhen’s daily maximum on September 5, 2026, reflecting broad agreement across meteorological models and real-time observations.** Multiple forecasts, including those from Chinese weather services and international providers like Yr, project a high near 31°C under partly cloudy skies with light southerly or variable winds, typical humidity around 70-80%, and only isolated light rain or thunderstorms. This aligns with September climatology for the Pearl River Delta, where daytime peaks commonly reach the low 30s°C before the more active rainy season intensifies. Current station readings approaching 31°C during midday further reinforce the market-implied odds near 99.5%. A realistic shift away from 31°C would require either persistent heavy cloud cover or convective rain suppressing the peak below 31°C, or an unexpected late surge pushing the official maximum to 32°C or higher—outcomes that remain low-probability given the stable steering pattern and model consensus.
