**Trader consensus at 100% for a 26°C high reflects official meteorological observations and forecast model agreement for Milan on September 12, 2026.** Multiple real-time sources, including GFS-derived forecasts and station data, show afternoon peaks reaching 25–26°C under clear to mostly clear skies, light easterly winds, and surface pressures around 1022–1023 hPa. This aligns with mid-September climatology for the Po Valley, where typical highs average near 22–25°C absent strong advection or frontal systems. The market-implied odds indicate traders viewed the outcome as effectively certain once diurnal heating maximized without significant cloud cover or precipitation to suppress temperatures. Minor model spread or station-specific microclimate variations remain possible but insufficient to shift the recorded maximum outside the 26°C threshold.
