Eurozone GDP growth forecasts for 2026 have clustered near 0.8–0.9% following repeated downward revisions by the ECB, OECD, European Commission, and IMF, driven by the lingering energy shock from geopolitical tensions, elevated inflation pressures, and softer external demand. Recent quarterly data show modest or contracting output in early 2026, with resilient domestic activity offset by weak industrial production and net exports. The market-implied 78.8% probability on the 0–1.0% bracket aligns with this consensus, while the 14.5% odds on 1.0–2.0% reflect limited upside scenarios tied to faster energy price normalization or stronger German fiscal support. Traders are pricing in subdued momentum ahead of further ECB policy signals and incoming inflation and PMI releases.
