Russia’s September 18–20 State Duma vote features United Russia as the clear frontrunner, leaving traders focused on which registered party secures third place behind the ruling bloc and the likely second-place finisher. LDPR leads the market at 55.5 percent because its nationalist platform, active June 2026 candidate list featuring special military operation veterans, and emphasis on anti-migration measures, regional support, and social policies such as low-interest mortgages have sustained visibility among voters who favor patriotic messaging. New People follows at 35.5 percent on the strength of its positioning as a newer, more moderate alternative that has drawn consistent if smaller shares in recent cycles. KPRF sits at just 8.5 percent amid indications of eroding backing, while smaller parties remain marginal. The tight LDPR–New People spread reflects trader assessments of campaign momentum and historical patterns in Russia’s managed multiparty system.
