Fabio Roscioli leads trader consensus in the Reggio di Calabria by-election market as the unified centre-right candidate for the September 27-28 vote in the single-member constituency vacated by Francesco Cannizzaro after his mayoral win. Backed by Forza Italia, Fratelli d'Italia, Lega, and allied lists, Roscioli benefits from the coalition's historical strength in the area despite his Roman background and limited local ties. Centre-left forces have consolidated behind Frank Benedetto, a cardiologist and former PD local leader, while Domenico Giannetta's National Future candidacy, supported by Roberto Vannacci, fragments some right-leaning support. Low expected turnout in the uninominal contest favors established party machinery and coalition discipline ahead of polling.
