Recent polls ahead of Israel's October 27 election show United Torah Judaism (UTJ) projected at 7-8 seats in most surveys, reflecting stable but contained support within the Ashkenazi Haredi sector amid ongoing coalition tensions. The party's seat outlook remains tight due to uncertainty over ultra-Orthodox turnout, driven by stalled conscription legislation that prompted UTJ factions to resign from the government earlier and boycott legislative efforts. Broader shifts in the right-wing bloc, including potential mergers and competition from other religious parties, add variability. Traders see the 9-10 range as the leading outcome because modest gains in Haredi mobilization or favorable alliance positioning could push results higher before election day.
