Recent forecast models from the China Meteorological Administration and international sources show persistent thunderstorm activity and high humidity over Shenzhen on September 21, with expected overnight lows near 25–26°C. Cloud cover from convective systems limits radiative cooling, while southeasterly flow maintains elevated dew points and prevents sharper drops. Model consensus on rain timing and intensity creates the tight split between sub-22°C and 32°C+ outcomes, as clearer intervals or heavier downpours could shift the minimum by 2–3°C. Historical September baselines in the region average 24–25°C lows, providing context for the current trader-implied odds reflecting genuine forecast uncertainty two days out.
