Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Houston project a Saturday high near 94–96°F under sunny skies with light easterly winds and negligible precipitation chances, driven by stable high pressure and typical late-summer Gulf moisture. These conditions align with climatological September averages of 90–93°F while allowing modest afternoon warming. Trader consensus, reflected in the 66% implied probability for 92–93°F, appears to balance model runs showing slight cooling from prior days against uncertainty in exact peak timing and urban heat effects. Official updates from the Houston/Galveston NWS office ahead of resolution will likely refine the range, as small shifts in dew points or cloud cover can alter the daily maximum by 1–3°F.
