The first round of the 2026 midterm GA-13 House election will be held on November 3, 2026. A candidate may win the election “outright” in the first round by winning more than 50% of the valid votes in the first round. This market will resolve to “Yes” if any candidate wins the 2026 midterm GA-13 House election outright in the first round. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No”. If the results of the first round of the specified election are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the GA-13 House election.**Georgia's 13th Congressional District is a heavily Democratic Atlanta-area seat.** In the July 28, 2026 special election to fill the vacancy left by the late Rep. David Scott, multiple Democratic candidates split the vote, with Marcye Scott at roughly 46-47% and Everton Blair Jr. at 36-37%, forcing an August 25 runoff. Republicans received under 14% combined. For the November 3, 2026 general election, the field has consolidated to Jasmine Clark (D) against Jonathan Chavez (R). The district's consistent Democratic performance, low Republican support, and single major-party matchup on each side make a first-round majority for the Democratic nominee highly probable. Traders price the outright-winner outcome at 93.5% because historical results, the special-election vote split showing broad Democratic strength, and the absence of significant third-party or vote-splitting dynamics all point to one candidate clearing 50% on election night. Late developments such as candidate withdrawals or unexpected turnout shifts remain the only realistic variables that could alter this consensus.
