Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois holding a steady but modest lead near 28-29% ahead of the October 5 election, while the Coalition Avenir Québec and Parti Libéral du Québec remain closely matched in the low-to-mid 20s and the Parti Conservateur du Québec sits around 16%. This fragmentation of support, combined with regional variations—such as stronger PLQ performance in Montreal and PCQ strength in Quebec City—keeps the battle for third place highly competitive. Trader consensus reflected in current prices assigns the highest probability to the PLQ finishing third, followed by the CAQ, with smaller but non-negligible chances for the PCQ. Upcoming leaders’ debates and final-week polling shifts could alter seat projections and reorder the lower standings before election day.
