**Hacks’ record 24 Emmy nominations for its final season on Max have anchored trader sentiment around 2-3 total wins at 58% implied probability.** The fifth-season haul, announced July 8 and eclipsing prior comedy benchmarks, reflects sustained critical acclaim and guild support, with frontrunner status for Jean Smart’s lead actress repeat, plus strong positioning in comedy series, writing, and directing. However, competition from high-volume nominees such as The Pitt and Widow’s Bay, alongside the Academy’s typical spread across categories, caps expectations for a larger haul. Final-round voting runs August 17–26 ahead of the September 14 ceremony, where late momentum or surprise upsets in supporting fields could still shift totals.
