The fragmented field of 13 registered candidates for Roraima’s two Senate seats has produced closely matched probabilities for second place, with no candidate exceeding low-to-mid 40s in the latest trader pricing. The August 15 registration deadline confirmed a wide-open contest featuring local figures such as Teresa Surita, Márcio Junqueira, Chico Rodrigues, and Rogério Miranda alongside outsiders like Hélio Bolsonaro, whose PL candidacy has sparked debate over residency and state identity. Limited recent polling and vote-splitting dynamics among smaller parties and independents sustain uncertainty, while issues including indigenous land policy and mining interests remain salient without yet producing decisive shifts. Upcoming campaign events and any late consolidation among center-right or opposition slates could alter positioning before the October 4 vote.
