The "Down" outcome holds a 60.5% market-implied probability for the Mega Charizard Y ex (Ascended Heroes) because the chase Mega Hyper Rare has already entered a post-release correction phase typical for modern Pokémon TCG chase cards. The set remains actively in print through August 2026 tins and collections, steadily increasing supply while initial hype cools and raw copies surface on secondary markets. Recent TCGPlayer and Collectr data show consistent softening, with the card trading in the mid-$400s after earlier spikes, and analysts noting similar patterns where new-wave Mega ex cards lose 10–20% in the first months post-launch. With no major tournament play, reprint announcements, or viral collector events on the immediate horizon to reverse the trend before month-end, traders see limited upside catalysts and view the current trajectory as favoring further modest declines by August 31.
