Recent weather patterns featuring persistent moisture, showers, and thunderstorms across the Greater Toronto Area have elevated dew points and limited overnight radiative cooling ahead of September 2. Official guidance from Environment Canada and ensemble models project a daily minimum near 18–21 °C under mostly cloudy skies and a 30–60 % chance of showers, with southwesterly flow advecting mild air. Historical September 2 lows average 16 °C, but current conditions favor reduced diurnal temperature range. Model spread on cloud cover and precipitation timing creates the observed clustering of market-implied odds around 18–21 °C and the 25 °C+ bucket, as lighter winds and high humidity could prevent further drops below 18 °C while partial clearing might allow modest cooling. Updated forecast runs through the next 24–48 hours will refine these thresholds.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=cyyz
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
