Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for San Francisco on September 19 points to a minimum near 57–58°F under continued onshore flow and a persistent marine layer, which strongly supports the market’s leading 58–59°F bin. Typical September climatology shows average lows of 55–56°F at downtown and airport stations, but recent days have featured upper-50s readings amid mild westerly winds and limited radiational cooling. No significant synoptic shift—such as offshore flow or clear-sky amplification—is indicated before the overnight period, keeping probabilities for sub-56°F or 60°F-plus outcomes low. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will provide the primary near-term signals for any revision.
