Latest National Weather Service guidance points to a Wednesday night low near 67°F in Central Park, supported by southerly flow, partly cloudy skies, and minimal cold-air advection under a building high-pressure ridge. This keeps overnight temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s, with model consensus showing limited radiational cooling due to dew points in the upper 50s to low 60s and light southwest winds. The tightly clustered market odds around 66–71°F reflect genuine forecast uncertainty in exact minimums, as small shifts in cloud cover or wind timing can alter the low by 1–2°F. Historical September averages near 63°F provide context, but current warm anomalies and stable pattern favor the higher side of typical ranges through the period.
