Recent official forecasts from the Met Office and ensemble models indicate a mostly cloudy Monday with westerly winds of 10–15 mph and limited sunshine, supporting a maximum temperature near 22–23 °C in central London. This aligns with trader emphasis on the 23 °C and 24 °C outcomes, as modest afternoon clearing or slightly lighter winds could push readings a degree higher while persistent cloud keeps them at or below 22 °C. Historical September averages around 19–20 °C provide context, but current Atlantic flow and lack of high pressure favor these moderate values. Updated model runs and any shifts in cloud cover ahead of the day will be key variables for final resolution.
