National Weather Service and private forecast models show Dallas on track for a sunny, hot day on September 9 with a projected high near 100–101°F, well above the 91.5°F climatological average. Persistent high pressure, light southerly flow, and minimal cloud cover support strong daytime heating, while dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s elevate heat index values above 105°F without altering the dry-bulb maximum. Recent days with 100°F readings have reinforced trader confidence in the 100–101°F bin at 46% implied probability, with the narrower 98–99°F and 102–103°F ranges capturing remaining model spread and minor timing uncertainties ahead of final observational data.
