Persistent high pressure and a warm, humid southerly flow across North Texas have maintained elevated overnight lows near 80°F for Dallas on September 5, with National Weather Service and model guidance showing clear skies and minimal radiative cooling under the current pattern. This setup, typical of late-summer heat domes, positions the daily minimum in the 80–83°F range as the leading outcome per trader-implied probabilities, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 74°F. No frontal passages or increased cloud cover are expected to alter temperatures before resolution, reinforcing market consensus around these thresholds amid stable forecast consensus.
