Forecast models from sources including the National Weather Service indicate Atlanta's overnight low on August 31 will likely settle in the low to mid-70s, driven by light variable winds, partly cloudy skies limiting radiative cooling, and elevated dew points near 70°F that suppress temperature drops in the stable late-summer air mass. This consensus supports the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 72-75°F, with modest probability on 70-71°F reflecting potential for slightly clearer conditions or model variance in boundary-layer mixing. Historical August climatology shows typical lows near 69-71°F, but persistent warmth and humidity this season have kept recent minima higher. Traders will monitor final NWS updates and any shifts in steering patterns before resolution.
