Current forecasts from global models, including GFS runs, indicate a daytime maximum near 33°C for Karachi on September 5 under mostly cloudy skies, moderate westerly winds around 15–25 km/h, and humidity near 65–75%, aligning with the market's strong 91% implied probability for that outcome. September climatology supports this positioning, with long-term averages placing the monthly high around 33–34°C amid typical post-monsoon conditions. Recent observations show similar daily peaks, with limited convective activity unlikely to suppress temperatures further. A shift toward clearer skies or reduced wind could push readings to 34°C or higher, while heavier cloud cover or localized showers would favor 32°C or below; updated official reports from the Pakistan Meteorological Department will provide the decisive data for resolution.
